The eCommerce integration enables retailers to sync digital assets, such as product images, consumer-facing descriptions, and more, to populate online marketplaces, their website as well as their mobile shopping app. The integration helps make valuable and up-to-date product information more accessible directly from manufacturers.
Saving Time With Instant eCommerce Data Uploads
The expanded ability of the IndiePet Open Catalog enables retailers to pull digital assets directly from manufacturers through the program. Up-to-date product photography and high-quality videos can also be directly uploaded to marketplaces, a retailer's website or even their mobile app. Product descriptions are populated with detailed information provided directly by manufacturers. Retailers can fill out attributes more accurately where required on different marketplace websites. Customers, in turn, can make more informed purchasing decisions, meaning larger online cart sizes and higher conversion values.

Before this expansion, the Open Catalog allowed retailers to pull detailed product data to create new products in their inventory when placing purchase orders within their Celerant retail system.
