Tax leader joins with nearly three decades of public accounting experience serving high-net-worth individuals and families
NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PKF O'Connor Davies, one of the nation's largest accounting, tax and advisory practices, today announced that it has hired Heyam Janell as Partner. Janell joins the organization with nearly 30 years of experience supporting the complete tax needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. She is based out of the Providence, Rhode Island, office.

Prior to joining PKF O'Connor Davies, Janell served as a tax partner for a national accounting firm, where she provided an array of consulting, planning and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and their trusts. Additionally, she served as the firm's tax operations leader, responsible for streamlining, standardizing and automating processes to produce efficiencies, optimize workflows and enhance client service across the firm. She also executed internal training programs for new hires and existing staff, implemented new performance evaluation systems, and mentored staff and managers to promote their development and achieve career goals.

Janell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, as well as a Master of Taxation degree, from Northeastern University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an Enrolled Agent. In addition, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents and the Rhode Island Estate Council.
