The Lodge at Blue Sky Honors The Macallan's Speyside Roots with a Winter Yurt Experience for Guests and Locals
PARK CITY, Utah, Oct. 18, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection, the award-winning, nature-immersed retreat just outside of Park City, today announces The Speyside Yurt, an exclusive The Macallan tasting experience at the luxury resort's Mountaintop Yurt from November 14, 2024 through March 31, 2025.
Nestled into the foothills of the Wasatch mountain range, The Speyside Yurt draws inspiration from western heritage and The Lodge at Blue Sky's relationship to nature to create an off the grid experience, where "offline with the perfect pour" is the new luxury. Guests can disconnect while they reconnect and indulge in light bites and elevated desserts, alongside The Macallan single malt whisky flights and bespoke cocktails using ingredients straight from the resort's on-property sustainable farm, Gracie's Farm. Cocktails include the Blue Sky Hot Toddy, featuring The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old and Gracie's Farm lavender and honey. Dishes will include local Utah bison with chokecherry jus.
Featuring hi-fi audio listening experiences, guests can pick albums to play in full during their session, or ask the bartender for recommendations to match their mood or drink. The burning of palo santo and ethically-sourced local pine resins will anchor the experience with a sense of place in the Mountain West, while subtle nods to The Macallan's Speyside heritage will be included throughout the yurt. The Macallan experiences will be woven throughout several Blue Sky signature adventures, such as cocktail classes or a riverside flight of The Macallan whisky after fly fishing.
The Macallan is renowned worldwide for its extraordinary single-malt whiskies. The outstanding quality and distinctive character of each whisky is influenced by exceptional oak casks seasoned with sherry wine - a commitment to natural color underpinned by mastery.
