U.S. Dermatology Partners expands access to dermatology care to patients in Crawford County with the opening of its newest office location.
PITTSBURG, Kan., Nov. 7, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- U.S. Dermatology Partners is pleased to announce the opening of its newest location in Pittsburg, Kansas. Beginning November 7th, 2024, the office will treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, rosacea, and skin cancer for patients of all ages in Crawford County.
Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Derek Towery will lead the Pittsburg location. Dr. Towery graduated from the St. Louis University School of Medicine, completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Louis University Hospital, and completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, serving as chief resident in his final year. He began his practice in Joplin, treating patients and families from the Southeast Kansas region, including Pittsburg, and many local towns to the north and west, including Parson and Chanute.
Certified Physician Assistants Lindsay Kloer and Angela Vediz will also be joining the U.S. Dermatology Partners' Pittsburg team. Kloer practiced family medicine at Labette Health in Parsons, Kansas, and has been treating dermatological conditions since 2010. Vediz has a total of twenty-one years of experience in dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pittsburg State University and worked as an emergency room nurse for eight years before returning to school to pursue her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies at Southwest Missouri State University.
