Asa Sherwood has been named as CEO of Zeman Homes, effective January 1, 2025. Mr. Sherwood will replace Jeff Fannon who will now serve as Vice Chairman of Zeman Homes, a position that is focused on the strategic growth of the company.
CHICAGO, Oct. 23, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Zeman Homes, one of the country's largest owners and operators of manufactured home communities and RV resorts, announced today the appointment of Asa Sherwood as the company's new CEO, effective January 1, 2025. Mr. Sherwood will replace Jeff Fannon who will now serve as Vice Chairman of Zeman Homes, a position that is focused on the strategic growth of the company.
Mr. Sherwood currently serves as Zeman's Chief Operating Officer and President of Community Operating Solutions ("COS"), a Zeman Homes' subsidiary that he helped form earlier this year. During his tenure, he was also responsible for developing OnPoint Management Services, Zeman's third-party multifamily management platform. Over the next three months, the Zeman Homes' management team will be working closely to transition the various responsibilities of the CEO role to Mr. Sherwood.
Prior to joining the Zeman Homes family in March 2024, Mr. Sherwood served as President, Midwest of FirstService Residential. In that role, he oversaw day-to-day operations and finances for 1,250 properties; 190,000 residential units; and 1,500 associates.
During his career, Mr. Sherwood has also served on the Board of Directors for The Illinois Community Association Institute Board; the Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association Board; and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Community Association Manager's Licensing and Disciplinary Board.
